Wuxi Meditation is a rare and profound spiritual exercise system that is free of dogma and religious embellishments. This system was developed by Dr Shen Hongxun, through deep study of Chinese and Tibetan meditation practices, with the intent to meet the needs of modern society.
The aim of this session will be to open the heart and extend the central channel. Through achieving this, we can begin to experience a greater connection with our spirit, thus taking a step further along our journey of spiritual development.
As usual, we shall begin with some movement, breath, and sound exercises, that release physical tension, correct the body posture, and clear the channels and meridians. By minimising any physical distractions in this way, we can achieve a much more effective Meditation practise.
Please come prepared to do some exercise; wearing warm, loose-fitting clothes. No special footwear are required, as this is a 'shoes-off' venue! Mats and bolsters will be available for our use, but you may wish to bring your own blanket and large cushion. Please also make sure you have eaten some breakfast beforehand, (allowing a bit of time for it to digest).
